I planted 2 borage last year and let them self seed at the end of the season. I've been trimming the greens all spring to eat steamed like spinach and help kick up the nitrogen in my compost.

Another great plant I have started this year is Amaranth. Good for bees and leaves make great steamed greens.Kristy Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09994332570659213705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6603976289589622965.post-21596501516904351832010-05-03T10:12:08.509-07:002010-05-03T10:12:08.509-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Kristy Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09994332570659213705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6603976289589622965.post-81515212223328221352010-04-29T14:10:20.099-07:002010-04-29T14:10:20.099-07:00Milli, Thanks for all your expertise! Hope I'm not too late re: your worm tea question. Allow water from your hose to sit for 24 hours before adding your handful of worm castings. Add worm castings, stir everyday for 3-4 days. Before using brew, dilute it until it reaches the color of weak tea.

Can't wait to hear the results!

Milli Macen-Moorepeaceful petalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02820119806819572765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6603976289589622965.post-22100346518949290312010-04-23T12:29:27.369-07:002010-04-23T12:29:27.369-07:00Hi,
